assimilator Q

howdy all.. maybe someone has an idea about this...
i put a competition werkes tail light assimilator in the 9one9 and all works as it should accept for one thing.. when the turn signal is put on, both lights blink. i am positive its both. it does it for the left and the right. running lights and brake lights work as they should. the front lights are fine. i have the thin hooked up exactly as it should be..
any ideas??

If you are positive it is wired into the bike correctly (which is the first thing I would check) there are only 2 things I can think of:

Bad wiring or short inside the tail light
Bad wiring or short somewhere on the bike


If you have a multimeter, check BOTH the left and right turn signal leads to the tail light. If only one has current, but both turn signals are activating, you have a bad tail light. If both have current, then you have a wiring problem on the bike.

and when i hook the OEM turn signals up, they work properly and both tail lights blink with..

fixed!!! it was a simple thing.. i think i get too excited and am too fast to post up.. sorry for the false alarm..(both of them) in the future i will give it at least an hour before calling wolf!!!
