I would love to go but not this weekend. I'm booked Saturday with the wife and Sunday is the ESB BBQ. Do you think you might make to the BBQ?

rode 242 week before last. If you go, ride it from west to east. less gravel. fun road though, lots of camper traffic

I might be available this weekend as well. What time were you thinking and what time do you estimate us to be back?

i'll prolly leave thurston around 9 ish ride up about 2 hrs and turn back idk if that is enough time to reach far end of 242 or not but i got a hall pass from the wife for all day so i'd like to make a big loop 242 up 126 back maybe ?

i might make it to the bbq as well but i'd prolly drive to that so i can bring the fam and more goods .

The end of 242 is Sisters so figure almost three hours up and refueling in Sisters at about lunch time.

A nice loop is 242 to Sisters, then back west on 126/20/22 to 20, west into Brownsville, then back over to Marcola, S-field, etc.
I might be able to do this thing, but at somw time ai'll have to embrace the horror and wash my bike; I'll will be in touch.

I went got a shopping bug so i upgraded to a zx10r so i will be moving very slow till i get used to the power and scuff the tires up a lil so unless anyone really patient or a nub like myself I better go ahead and go solo . Had no idea i was gonna upgrade but i ran into a deal i could not say no to . So that being said i will be at thurston albertsons / shell around nine am 8-14 if any new riders or babysitters feel the urdge to go east for a bit post up i'll check b4 i leave willing to wait a lil later if needed .

I'd love to go, but the boys are asking for a trip to the lake.
I'll probably feed the addiction Sunday morning, though, and get out for a few hours before I fly out to Michigan.

bah i only went to harbics store and desided to turn back there is 20 miles of chipseal on 126 fresh right now through the section right above turn off for cougar to lil past harbics . to be perfectly honest the new bike has got soo much more power i am still being very carefull getting used to it . If i rode this like it was the 650 i'd have put her down a dozen times already . Hit 126 to 36 last night was fun though and all clear not even one po po was a real treat.
