Riding to Salem today. Anyone free?

Gonna go up and hit Mikes cycle parts to see what parts I can scavenge for the fizzer. Anyone wanna come? I realize it's short notice, but I figured someone may have some free time today. leaving between 9 and 10 this morning.

Got up to Salem today, and the salvage yard was closed:yell: Oh well, I guess I'll have to go back that way up again this week, Darn! I hate riding in this beautiful weather:D Not sure what day yet, but this week for sure. I'll have to leave early so I can meet up with all the members we seem to have near McMinnville.
Very cool bonus today- I pulled into the rest area north of Albany on the way up to have a smoke. The NICEST Ferrari I have ever seen was parked there.F430,I think. I asked the guy driving it if I could look..... WOW. I have never seen a car that made me think it could beat my bike, but I was seriously wondering today. Then I got to talking to the gentleman who owned it, and he said would probably do okay with 600s, but a litre bike would beat it for sure. Awesome car! At just over $200K, I think I'll go pick one up tomorrow to drive when the weather is too nasty for the bike:lol:
Oh yeah, I almost forgot. I only saw ONE cop today:eek: And that was because I was at the city complex in Salem. Rest of the day....NADA!
No parts, but a Great ride anyway.

I'm coming up for the FNG Friday, so if it gets too late and you're around, I may just take you up on the offer:thumbup: Really gonna try to ride home that night. I have a detail sceduled again this weekend, and I'm gonna try to make the photo shoot for a bit on Sat.

Hey, if youre going to be up here, youre welcome to hang out that evening and part of the next day. I wont be doing anything untill jane gets home from work but sit around here, and then her and I were going to trailer the bike down to eugene for the weekend. maybe we can ride some of the local twisties until she gets home, and then trailer back down to eugene or something? let me know.
