Okay, so Im absolutely in LUST over this European paint scheme on the 2006 Yamaha R1 LE and Im considering making it my personal winter project to turn my bike into something very similar to it. I can get my current rims, rear suspension pieces, front forks, and such gold anodized pretty cheaply and that would save me having to purchase actual expensive new parts. I am really only after the "look" of this bike. Ive even got a line on the gold badging for the bike through a friend in Canada...What do you all think?

Change the gold to copper and throw in some silver trim and you have yourself a kick ass batmobile! :drool:However, if you have your wheels anodized, it may be cheaper but I think they will get scratched pretty easily. Better to have them powdercoated! (or is that the same thing? Im not sure) But gold or copper it would look saweet!:rad:
