Photo Shoot this Saturday

We are doing a Photo Shoot this Saturday at 12 Noon. We are going to meet at
Hamm Road and Lorane Hwy intersection, and then proceed to the photo
location near the 15 mph hairpin on Hamm Road. It is always nice to get some
action shots of the bikes with us riding. The corner where we usually shoot
(3 corners below the 15 mphturn) is supposed to be repaved. Everyone is invited.Call if you want to participate, or just show up.My # is 954-4155.

Bring a very large broom... They re-graveled after the construction and for the last couple weeks there has been a TON of gravel through the whole corner. As of last Saturday it was still covered. :mecry:

A few of us are going up there Friday night in a truck with 4 or 5 brooms and
sweep the entire corner.As well as being a crash risk, gravel on the road doesn't
look good in the photos.(Artsy Fartsy you know). Thanks for the heads up though. ZRX_PAUL

Well,the entire corner on the side we shoot is completely clean now.Led Kat was
right, it was a gravel trap when I got up there.I swept about 400 feet or so with a 2 ft. push broom.The looks on the faces of the traffic driving by as I swept was priceless.I'm sure Cahoots got a couple of calls at least to go get the guy
sweeping the road in the middle of the woods.
Anyway, I'll take the broom tomorrow as well to touch up before we shoot.See you there.

Besides the gravel, I had fun today. Too bad the sun was in the wrong spot for the corner you swept last night. Thanks for taking the time to sweep and take the pics. Can't wait to see 'em.

woulda been fun to make it, i rode through hamm rd around 1130am and didnt see anyone... was on the way to the coast for another teeth-chattering ride. had a good time though! cant wait to see some pics get posted from you guys :ride:

We had a blast doing the photo shoot Saturday. As TAT2D said, the sun was in the wrong place for the corner I swept Friday Nite. The second place, about
4 corners below was clean, but kinda dark, so the digital camera struggled.
The hairpin also needed sweeping before we could use it, but worked OK.
The bottom line was only 40 pictures out of 111 were even usable.Oh well.
The good thing is, we know which way the sun has to be facing next time.
I hope that we get another chance this year to take some photos.

next time you do the shoot, gives us a good warning and I will do my best to make it. maybe you could do a sat and sun shoot so the majority of us could attend.
