does anyone know if progressive will give you a multi-vehicle discount if you have 1 car and 1 motorcycle insured with them? because apparently its going to be spendy when i get a new bike... :mecry: darn those speeding tickets! i should just sell my car and ride year-round since i tend to behave better on the bike...

If you can do so, riding year round is actually not bad at all, plus it gives you an excuse to buy more riding gear.:bounce: the only problem is when it freezes or on the off chance we get snow. I did it last year and it wasn't too bad, cept when I got caught in the hail:laughing:. anyhow, give gieco a call too, I think they give the multi-bike car discount, also if you don't ride all year long make sure they know that the bike has limited uses throughout the year. Most companies give a break for reduced milage or recreational vehicle status.
also, not to hi-jack the thread, but as long as were on insurance, anybody that is prior military service should contact www.usaa.com for coverage that is nearly impossible to beat price and service wise. Hell they even give you money back at the end of the year if accident rates are low and they have a good year. I got back like 65.00 a year or so ago.

I recently changed to State Farm from Progressive and cut my bill in half and was able to double my coverage (i.e. lower deductible, higher coverage amount). All I have with them is my bike and it gets cheaper if you bring your car over too. :2cents:
