Don't take it as a diss of any sort, but that is not a bad idea...... Just think what a job at Victoria's Secret could do for your social life. Pretty temping.... Ya you might get a load of **** from the homophob's but the smart guys would be pretty impressed.
That's right baby, grinning from ear to ear if you got the job as a changing room assistant.:D

    the job of a life time
Ha, good luck with that. I do know they hire guys, but not for changing room assistant. Ha. But I've heard that job is less than desirable...think of the used returns you get. :frown:

Aw, come one. The fat chicks just want to feel sexy too. [blonde] Nothing wrong with a little lace and leopard print. Arrrrrrrrrr!
Matt, sorry we took a little detour on you serious post. But hey, this just bumps it up one more time.
Ok guys seriously, Heh. The places I can rememeber off hte top of my head for Now Hiring at the mall info:
-Wilsons Leather (mm..leather discount)
-Things Remembered
-One of the preppy store, AMerican Eagle I think or something.
-And in general, I'd assume any store. Everyone, I mean, everyone is looking for at least temp work for the holidays, even my store. So. I know, retail isn't for everyone, but if you get desperate, go for it.

Fade has a great point. With the holiday season fast approaching there will be many places looking from some help.
Besides, Copelands wouldn't be that bad either.
Ya, I'm just not really sure I could do the whole retail store thing. I'll definatly keep all those places in mind though. I'm not real desperate right now...just want something different for the winter.

i dont know what sort of work experience you have, but if you check online with OMG.com, OMLabs.com, PeaceHealth.org, or MckWeb.com there are always postings and quite often for part-time work... plus they all pay really well... i've worked for all of them, so i would know. You can get great health insurance too if you are in need of it. i know medical doesnt seem the way to go, but trust me... there are tons of jobs in those facilities that have nothing to do with patient care (if you are like me and hate working with the public)... just a thought.:idunno:

What skills do you have? Tess is right. Many of the medical employers are always looking for part time employees. And they work round the clock. If you can type there are lots of openings for registration...and that is not a difficult job if you have good typing skills. Peacehealth online has a listing of the openings they have and it's not just at the hospital. They have many clinics and they are just weekdays. I don't blame you with the retail jobs. I have done retail and with one exception, I hated it. I love working hospitals though. I don't really have patient contact (I work in the pharmacy), just do my thing. My shift is 1:30pm to 10pm. Great time of day to work also...so much more relaxed atmosphere. So, start with what you like, what you skills are and then go for it. I'm sure you can find something! Good hunting
