THE HECKLER
Hi all, I'm FOXX and I moderate a seperate sportbike forum. Now, I never planned on becoming a member on here due to the busyness of the site that I mod, but I'd like to take a moment to address a concern. It appears someone going under the name of "The Heckler" (who actually is a member and more on this site) has plastered an advertising all over the site I manage. The message:
I am here to invite those that are sick and tired of the drama to join me and others from oregon to leave the problems with this site behind and remember what we all joined sites like this to do. MEET OTHER RIDERS and have a good time. It seems that the administrators of this site have put themselves on some sort of pedistel and think that they are above everyone else. Recently I was banned because I have a link to my site in my signature! I was told that this is against the rules yet it CLEARLY STATES IN THE RULES that you MAY HAVE A LINK TO YOUR SITE IN YOUR SIGNATURE LINE! Or they DID at the time of this writing. I expect that to change shortly though. What are the administrators afraid of? Perhaps that other members are sick of the garbage and drama that goes on here, and that they might check out another site, and realize that it is MUCH BETTER elsewhere? I think they should be afraid! I mean are you going to let some poser tell you WHAT SPORTBIKE SITE YOURE ALOWED TO VISIT ON THE NET??? I call bullsh1t!
Hey if youre tired of the crap here, check around. there is a new site up now, and Im sure you can ask around and get the address. Come on over there and have a good time. Theres no need to put up with the pathetic censoring that this site is doing to you. Ask around, theres a new Oregon sportbike site. YOU ARE WELCOME THERE!
Now, as informative as this may seem, it clearly goes against the rules of the site. (Posting links to other sportbike forums) The Heckler agreed upon the terms and conditions of the site by reading (or was supposed to) and accepted the rules. It appears that their attempt to litter the site full of this message resulted in banning. This evidently angered someone. So what's the issue? I want to know. How hard is it to follow simple rules that you AGREED to, upon siging on?! The Heckler has also gone by a different name which too has been banned. I know who the person is and I don't appriciate their actions on the site I moderate. If it continues, I don't see it hard at all to bring this site down with a little help from some of the current members of the other sportbike site. Yes, I already have more than a handful of supporters. Thanks for reading. http://www.oregonsportbike.com/forum/images/smilies/thumbup.gif
