Bike Night Alternitive ? [Archive]

I got together with some fellow riders yesterday and the idea of having bike night at a bowling ally came up. It sounded good too me. I was wondering if any one else felt the same way? I'm thinking Firs bowl on river road at 7pm. on 10/26
Let me know.

I'm not sure this is the proper way to update this measage but here goes. Its a new week and I was wondering if anyone had as much fun as I did last week bowling? If so lets do it again.I called Strike City Lanes this time and confirmed that there will be lanes open.Thats the one on 99 next to Putters.Speaking of Putters, I was talking with Karen and she mentioned she'd like to do some miniture golf.I'd be game for either one.What do you all say ?

that would be fun... glad we all came up with that idea! i'd hate to go so many months without seeing everyone... that time works for me, gives me a couple hours before i have to work :thumbup:

Hrm well if I lived down there I'd be game! Bowling is my specialty... have yet to meet another person who can bowl backwards between their legs and get 8 strikes in a row :yes: Too bad I won't be there... maybe soon though. I love to bowl :drool: and Mike knows that.

If your not entirely set on Firs- the one on Hwy 99 is cheaper and still plenty of fun.

In regards to your sugestion about highway 99.Its Wednesday I think its a little late to be changing things around. Lets still go for firs on River Road at 7:00 on 10/26. Maybe next time we'll try 99.Hope to see you all there:drool:

No River road as in River road:) If your on beltline highway you would take the river road exit south.Firs bowl is about 1/4 mile south of beltline on river road.Thats the same road that cyclesports is on.I hope that helps.

out of curiosity... has anyone bothered to call Firs Bowl and make sure that there wont be league night at that time? i'd hate for us all to show up and then there be a bunch of fat stinky league guys and their groupies hanging out and drinking beer.... :wtf:

FYI: I just called Firs Bowl thay do have league tonight from 6:00-9:00:frown: but the bowling alley on hwy 99 sed thay have league to but there would be open lanes to:thumbup: Plus the mini putting is next door.
