Looking to upgrade to some stiffer springs up front on my cbr. Any info on good quality springs that wont brake the bank would be appreciated.

I wouldnt do that just yet.
Mine ended up going out (softer) 5 and a half turns from "standard" on preload and the rebound to set up to max. I was losing a lot of feeling in the front. Now its perfect for me. I brought in the preload 1/2 turn to compensate for the "real" road instead of track, and I just remember it.
In a nutshell, the bike was beating the crap out of me, both front and back.
I weigh 175 lbs.

GP Suspension in Oregon City can set you up nicely. They do all of my suspension work and they are reasonable.

But you can also do quite a bit with your stock suspension. The adjustments from the factory suck. Try getting your stock ones set up properly for your weight first. When I did mine it helped alot. Good tires are also very important in the way your suspension feels.
