Dremel is faster than a file:lol:
If you end up getting a new one(or used) check the barons den. when I purchased my 40 cal. last year, they dropped the price 50 bucks to match a lower price at another store. Great people to deal with too.
I'll have to look around here for the post about the big kitty. I haven't been on here in over a month:wow8: so I hadn't heard about it. Glad to hear you're still here:yes:
Later,

Nothing wrong with teaching them rather than sheltering.
Baron's den is great- the old lady is very rough around the edges at first. Their prices aren't the best, but big selection. That or scour some of the bigger boards- ar15.com, glocktalk, thehighroad, etc and ship it into a dealer for transfer. I know 2 here in Euegen that are cheap and easy for transfer.
Any ideas on what you want- revolver, semi, brand, capacity??

#1, they arent my kids to make those decissions. That would be between their mother (jane) and their daddy who is an awesome guy and probably will when he feels theyre ready.
#2, Id rather spend my hard earned money on bike stuff rather than guns and amo.
#3, there is no reason to own a gun anymore. At one time there was something usefull in the constitution of the united states that said something about we should be allowed to keep guns and a militia so that if the government became corrupt that we could overthrow that government to keep things on track...Well we see how thats gone so far havent we? No point in owning guns if everyone is afraid to use them for the purpose they were designed. But hey, Welcome to the Newnited States. (steps down off of soap box)

Jeff,
Barons Den also rents guns by the hour for $15 + ammo if I recall correctly. I know quite a few guys that have located the right gun by going in there and trying their top five pics.
Something to think about.

Mike ... I commend you on respecting "Jane's" values, nobody should even have a issue of what you believe in. If it wasn't for pure safety for me in the woods or the chance of putting some food in the freezer for my family I most likely own them either, On the other hand I have a niffty 12ga shorty thats if by chance an intruder comes in my house and puts my family in harms way they will find a lil red dot on their chest. As for the goverment taking over I see where your coming from, but I also see and hear alot of people complaining on how things are but when it comes down to they are affrad to take a stand for themselve, I am not saying your that way, I have met you and don't you are that way one bit, and hope I have not offended you at all, I haven't even met too.. so anyways I guess I have rambled on long enough...

Dont get caught with a handgun while bow hunting though. You might want to check the synopsys but Im pretty sure its illegal to have a firearm in your possesion while bow hunting.

It is leagal to carry a handgun while you are bow hunting. If you read the synopsys the ODFW print yeah they say that..... but they do not have the right to make laws...I have a couple stater's a friends and it is al good to carry a pistol......

If you are in a national forest, however, you may not carry concealed. If memory serves me. You can thank the Clinton admin. for that little bit of retarted logic.:yell:
