One of the best books I have personally read when it comes to how to ride and control a sportbike...

Mike,
Do you still have a copy that you are willing to part with for a few bucks? Might save me a from ordering it from amazon or ebay.
Let me know.

Unfortunately no I don't. I gave my copy away last year to a new rider that really needed it. You might check your local Barns & Nobel, or Borders book store. They likely will have it or can order it next day for you. It really is worth the read though!

I have not read that book. Last winter I did pick up two street riding books that came highly recommended for a number of sources. I'm no expert on this kind of thing but I did learn a lot and enjoyed the read:
"Total Control" by Lee Parks
"Sport Riding Techniques" by Nick Ienatsch
Just more info, you can get the book and other stuff directly from Keith Code's California Superbike School.

And if you have questions about their books or videos, they are good people to talk to about motorcycles related questions.

I have to grab one on for my next trip. Unfortunately, I am heading out of town for the weekend and will not be at bike night or the Sunday ride. :mecry:
I was looking for a good read while I was on the plane tomorrow.
Have to grab it when I get back.
Thanks for the leads on good reads.

I started reading a friend of mines book, TOTW. I haven't gotten all the way thru it, but I tell ya, I am soaking up a bunch of great knowledge from it. I can't wait to buy my own books, I and II. What else do you guys recommend?
