I need som pictures for our display in the Eugene Roadster Show. I want any good ones that you have that pretain to riding in anyway: racing, stunts, group pictures, the bikes in general, ect... I am going to make 8X10s of them and have them on the outside of our display so that people can learn a little bit more about us :). :)

I dont know...its one thing for someone to tell me that they are interested, and its another thing all together when someone hands me a wad of money and their bike and tells me to hook it up. It seems like there are just too many "Interested" people for me to think seriously about opening a shop. Maybe someday.

Alright Andy, I got the hint. Unfortunately I've realized I didn't spend nearly enough time taking good pictures of my bike over the summer... guess I got too caught up riding instead. I've only got one good picture of my bike - it was taken on Highway 101 at a viewpoint north of Florence.

oh is it really? i havent seen one of those since they first came out... the front ends are so similar though... it was a good guess on my part lol :tongue:the only way you would have been able to know that is the size. the 748 was virtually identical in body work and design.:blah-blah It had a narrower profile and shorter ride height, plus it helps that I know the guy who rides the 916, and have ridden with him before:rolleyes: the 748, 916, 996, and 998 all look the same for the most part, the minor differences being suspension, brakes, etc. good eye though. keep it up and you'll be v twin'in before you know it.... now how bout that 1098? is that sexy our what!

If you've been reading Cycle World Magazine much, that Norton might be of interest to you.
That's the prototype Kenny Dreer Norton, from the days when Kenny was restoring and customizing Commandos.
For those who don't know who Kenny Dreer is, he's the guy up in Portland who was on the verge of bringing the Norton name back into production.
He had ownership of the Norton name, and a brand new design in limited production, and was about to go full swing with it when the people with the money pulled out of the deal at the last minute.

And a couple of Hondas.
There's a lot more where those came from, and if need be they can be cropped to remove the spectators, etc.

Shameless plug.
I guess I can't end this little show without posting up a pic of my own bike.
Always ridden to the shows, never a trailer queen.

Thanks. It passes the "20 foot test". If you don't get any closer than that, it looks like a prizewinner.
As for the rubber, it gets ridden, so antique tires are out of the question.
