stop!!
I'm as die hard year round riding as they come, but don't risk it people. I made a huge mistake of riding yesterday. 5 min out of my drive way and I was scraping ice off of my visor. Today I woke the wife up and had her drive me instead. Tomorrow it sounds like I will be doing the same. Let's all keep our rides up right and clean, take a bus, drive the car, or give a buddy a call and carpool, but let's have a safe winter so we can all have a great summer. (or at least until the Ice is gone!)

I agree. I'll ride until it hits 32 degrees, below that the extra two wheels come in really handy.

I went out an practiced the other night for about an hour at the business park... wasnt to bad- fingers were cold as hell but other than that...not bad... I like to practice in the rain aswell- teaches brake and throttle control. Ice is no good... but I can handle cold and dry.

yeah, it's frustrating. I rode home yesterday eve. and it was about 37 and still a little sunny and dry. it's just those pre-dawn hours when I'm going to work, or coming home when I work late that is the hazzard. Although I hear ice racing in Canada is big. :ride: nah, I'll just wait for it to rain, like you said Ron the rain ok, cold and dry is ok, it's that damn ice.

I even had bering thermal gloves under alpinestars winter goretex gloves, man I guess the hawaiian blood just can not take the cold, heh:bounce:

Hey Tess you are more than welcome to come along with us if you want, and that goes for anybody else too, it is just a matter of the tickets and board and such, although I think we could hide a few peeps in our room:bowtie-gu
