Just found this site -had a feeling it existed though. I ride a yellow and black 05' GSXR 750 and am pretty new to this street thing. Been riding on and off for years but only recently took it (legally) to the streets this last summer. I dont have any friends up here who ride sport bikes and my wife rides her Vespa only around town so I am iterested in meeting some new peeps for some rides that acually cover some miles. I got this moto from a insurance total in Cali so my bike is still a work in progress (as everybodies is). I can ride but am far from "owning" the road. If ya'll are gonna tell me about the thursday night get together I allready know about it and am not really interested in standing around and talking about bikes (that sounds like a jerk, sorry, but I just prefer to ride...). Any how, the weather sucks right now and my bike is sleeping in a friends garage but once this cold/freeze breaks I would be very interested in meeting/ learning from and riding with some new people. Ova and out.
Welcome!
When weather permits, we do more than just hang out and chat at Bike Nite...

:clapping: :ride: Welcome to the addiction!
 Ya, what Tron said.
Keep your eye on the Group Rides and Special announcements. That's where you'll get your riding in. All abilities are welcome. Vespas too! It's the spirit that counts. :moped:

Welcome Kaylon. Its great to have you here. Im sure youll find exactally what youre looking for on this forum. I would like to say that although we do talk bikes at the bike nights, its also where we go to meet and make new friends, which is what you said you are looking for. We are a great bunch of folks in the area, and welcome more to join. As was already stated; when the weather warms, youll find more than enough riding to be had in many groups, and there is no shortage of great riders that are always more than willing to give pointers on just about anything you could ever want to know, or lend a hand when you need one. You might also want to check out our sister site at www.oregonsportbike.com/forum (http://www.oregonsportbike.com/forum) as it also has loads of members and rides to be had.
Once again, WELCOME to a great site, and Im looking forward to meeting and riding with you sometime! Stay long and post often!
