View Full Version : Motor Swap

Turns out i needed a few more parts then i thought, i found some helpfull people over at gixxer.com who have made the swap from the 600 to 750 on the srad series. Right now im just looking for the right carbs to fit this motor, if anyone has a friend or knows a good source of where i can find a set of 96-97 750 39mm carbs please let me know.
looking ebay pretty often and havent had the best of luck, craigs surfing hasnt shown much promis

Any tips on the motor swap also very much appriciated i want to get back out on the road and not miss out on another nice riding day.

I hate to suggest this, but there are a couple good bike wrecking yards in Cali that you maybe able to get some good parts from. I can't recall the one that I have worked with in the past but I remember I found them via a google search.

Oh ya, and the guaranteed the parts too! Huge when you are buying used parts. I had to send back a shock assembly that didn't work and they paid for shipping on both ends. :clapping:
