hey guys, got my 750 motor in, waiting on a couple parts, but installing my new harness and all that jazz.

Pretty much, im trying my 600 carbs on the 750 untill i can get ahold of a new set.
Anyways come to find that the old harness has 2 plugs that connect to carbs called a "Solenoid Valve"
Now on the wireing diagram for the 750 it shows this 1.

but on the 600 diagram, it doesent show it at all, also on the old harness theyre are 2 of these plugs to the carbs.
Matching wire sets between these plugs, and location is almost the same compairing each harness but. on the 750 the ignition coils are diffrent, and thats where the 2nd plug is on the 600.

so im wondering can i take that 2nd plug and splice it to the 750.

the reaction i think would happen, if it worked at all.. the signal that was sent down that cable would opperate the carbs all at the same time, doing thing, so what im asking is, is that how carbs normaly work, or do they open and shut accordingly to the piston.

may seem like a stupid question, but thats where im at

hope to ride wichyu guys soon

carbs work off a vacuum from the cylinder. open cylinder sucks in fuel. closed cylinder does not. if you hold the throttle open on a carbed bike once you get the initial squirt of fuel it should not keep squirting unless you close the throttle then re open. same thing when you have to pump the throttle in an old car. there is no open and shut. all of them are open at the same time relative to your throttle position. carbs have the fuel sucked into the motor when the piston goes down and the valve opens. i would have to see it in person to know exactly what electronics were controlling. you can try the 600 carbs, the worst that should happen is it wont start or will run really bad.

you can try it but carb need to be persice (extra hoses and cables not good)

The wires on carbs are almost always for throttle positioning sensors. This allows your ignition to tell exactly how much throttle is open at any given time.
