Oil changes on 02 R6

i was wonding in how many miles should i change the oil? i have heard alot from other people some say 1500mi others say 3000mi like a car. would love info

I change my oil every 2000 - as if you needed another interval. The bottom line is that I don't think it really matters - any of those intervals are fine and your bike will last for years. If you ride often, or less aggressively, I'd go with longer mileage intervals. If you don't ride a lot, or you ride more aggressively, go with shorter ones. If you don't like doing it, use synthetic oil so you can go longer between changes.
