Hey everybody, so my girlfriend (Sybersprite) has an '03 Kaw ZX6R and the headlamp started turning off intermitently, and now won't come on at all. This happens for high or low beams. I've used a voltmeter to check the power in the wires going to the lamps and nothing. I've traced them back to the hi-low switch and nothing. There is no power coming out of the module under the seat. I tried to get into the module, but was impossible. Some kinda strange puzzle cube thing like from Hellraiser. Do'nt know what else to do. Does anybody have any experience with this or maybe a manual for this bike? Wanna try to do what I can before I take it over to Rod at triumph or somebody else. Thanks. Also, I might be at bike night. Look for the green bike and yellow helmut. Thanks everybody! V.

Is there power going INTO the module? From the fuse (I know it's a stupid question, but sometimes we overlook the obvious in our frustration)? If so, it's obviously the module.
Is the module a computer type component or just a connector? Computer type components aren't usually designed to come apart - they need to be replaced as a whole. I've never seen a connnector that wouldn't come apart, but some have been rather tricky.
Pics?

I guess its more of a junctin box than an ignition injection etc module, and in fact I guess it actually is the fuse box! Sorry, it was a week ago that I looked at it. I did check all the fuses and they were fine, but good call on that. Anyway, there is power going into it and power coming out of it, except for the headlamp wires. I think there is also a connection some how to the starter relay becuase as you know the lamp only turns on after the bike is started and only stays on if you hit the kill switch. Otherwise it turns off when you turn the key off. I can get pictures, but would have to be later this weekend. The bike works normally other than this. Thanks Vin!

Vin?
Sounds like it's either a bad wire/connection or a bad relay.
