Hey all,

Hope everyone had a nice weekend. Unfortunately, all the press suggests that not everyone took care on thier bikes this weekend. Here is a link to an OSP press release:

Let's as a group make an effort to be a little extra courteous to the cages out there. More importantly, let's take care to keep our riding within the limits of the street. While we are all tired of the "murdercycle" and "donorcycle" comments from our non-riding public, it's easy to understand why someone that doesn't ride would say such things.

I just returned from participating in the AFM races at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma. I've raced for over 6 years and done countless track days and I can tell you that it's the best thing you can do to slow down on the street. Let's plan some track days this summer. I'm sure you all know that a new track is being built in Clackamas County, should be ready for use this summer.

you are correct i always go out of my way to be kind to every one bike or car

and if they act like an asshat i just try harder to many pepole do dumb stuff on the street

***And I also want to mention about the girl that got in an accident text messaging while driving. I know people that do this, I was a person that used to do this (not too long ago, I am embarrassed to say), but one day I realised that I might kill someone... especially one of us motorcyclists that are so hard to see. PLEASE, if you do this now, think about what could happen, and STOP TEXTING WHILE DRIVING!!! :thinking:

Please be careful out there... not everyone waited i line for a brain the day they were given out and they do some pretty stupid things... My parents drive long haul and have seen people watching movies, reading books, breastfeeding and other intersting things while driving. They have also had to veiw what happens to others that get in these peoples way (the stories are pretty bad). I'm sure we all want to get home in one peice and our families would probably appreciate it too... And I know we all waited inline for our brains... Right?!?!:rolleyes:
