That's right there was a little baby black bear walking on the road this afternoon!:eek: when he saw me coming he turned and ran down the road and then into the bush. So just a heads up be carefull.:angel:

there comen out of the woods thats for sure, talk to one of the road crew that paved siuslaw river rd. said he spoted one too.
i saw two bear (deferent times) last year doin smith river. its cool to see one up close like that, although i would not like to hit one. :eek:
i lived in this part of the valley all my life, last year was the first time i seen one aw make that two in the wild.

I've seen a few, mostly down near cottage grove though. glad you ok buddy.

lucky momma bear didnt come out.

i have them in my back yard some times. i go out with my gun when its dark here.

Thanks for the heads up. My buddy lives down that way and we ride Wolf Creek every now and then.

Good thing Mom wasn't paying close attention.....

Rex is a smart butt.

Yes, there are bears in this area. Along with Elk, black tail, coyote, bobcat and cougar. I'd be more concerned with the elk in the road or the cougar with kits. Bears don't really want to mess with us stinkin humans.
