The specs look good, but the picture doesn't really show how much armor there actually is. But for $275, I'd call it a steal. I just paid more than that for just pants, and that's entry level pricing for most jackets as well. One thing to note is that it does NOT come with knee pucks. while you think it may be a while before you get a knee down, they add a fair degree of protection and aren't that expensive (~$20-$40).

Now don't forget boots, gloves, & a spine protector!!

P.S. My get off making you think about this?? <hehe>

Hey Edwin, My Fieldsheer that I was wearing when we met is a 2 pc. that I got 5 or 6 years ago on closeout for $300. THey have served me well. Just now starting to come apart in a few seems and the liner. You can always ship em back if you don't like em. $10 to get to look at them is worth it in my oppinion.

Also try these guys.... http://www.newenough.com/ They were super nice... sent me 3 different suits to try, no re-stocking fee's when I sent them all back... I will definitly use them for other stuff in the future. Also Firedog Racing, just search for them.

The Joe Rocket suits are good for shorter guys. Really roomy, just didn't fit me in the torso, but it was nice. Just some info from the new guy.:2cents: :idunno:
