Well it has been some time since this ride, but for those of you who have waited, here it is.:idunno:

Note: My videos are like the stories I tell, long and full of stuff you might not care about. :blah-blah I don't do well with editing, because I like to leave everything in. But on the up side, there is something worth watching in each one of the videos.

Hope you all enjoy them!:bounce:

Warning: the volume level is a bit loud

Nice! Looks completely different from a video point of view.

By the way........ Whats up with the yellow tag?

 The yellow tag is attached to my keys and I always forget to slip it down into the bike so it won't flap around in front of the camera.

Yeah the videos are alright, but with the conversion from the tape and then the compresion on YouTube, caused the quality to really go down. :frown: But whatever, it is what it is.:blah-blah

Lord KNOWS I love the look of the Duc's, but what good is a ride you CAN'T ride?!? Tess, I have to admire your tenacity for riding in style - I couldn't do it!!

Me either... Duc's are really nice, and I would love a 998, but I ride WAY too much to afford the maint. on one.... well over 9K a year.

I ride about 8000 miles a year, and the maintenance on a Duc would kill me...

yeah i really love my bike, but a part of me really really hates it. mainly just because of the cost of repairs and maintenance... btw, the 6k service is the cheap service. the 12k is about $1200... :idunno:

Ducs "are" some amazing machines! On my first day at T-Hill this year, a guy pitted next to me with a brand new, shiny, red 1098... He was in the A group and every time he got that bike started, it made some seriously beautiful music!!!

Tess, have you thought about purchasing a shop manual and doing it yourself? Some of the ducati riders on my RC51 forum say that after the first few times, it becomes fairly easy........ although knowing ducati you'll probably need some 800 dollar tool to do it

well I guess beauty is expensive when it comes to Italy eh?

dan- my dad has been a mechanic for about 40 years and even HE didnt want to try to tackle all the shimming and whatnot. he does my oil changes and other very minor stuff, but said that i should just bite the bullet and have the dealer do the other things because of how complicated it is to do. nice thought though...
