my bikes down and out :mecry: :crying: :mecry: . for now got off freeway to have a smoke and saw my bikes has oil dripping over the clutch cover and plastic behind it. smell of burning oil from header i think from oil dripping on it. i was still 25mi's from my house so i called some bikers trl mike and joey. :help2: mike wasnt in town. mike told me to call joey to see how bad it is and if it was to bad bring it to his house. so i did. joey came from his job to come look to see if i could make it home. he said no way. so rode it mikes house where it sits and will be worked on tomorrow hope its not to bad. the things riders do for each other is the cools thing in the world. i wouldnt of known what to do if it wasnt for u two so THANK YOU VERY MUCH MIKE AND JOEY:clapping:
P.S. i owe u two.

Sorry about the inconvenience, but speeking on behalf of some of our other riders. You are very lucky that the leak was small, and that you noticed it before things got a lot worse. http://eugenesportbike.com/forum/images/smilies/newsmilies/crash.gif http://eugenesportbike.com/forum/images/smilies/newsmilies/crying.gif

didn't you just have some work done to that like a oil change or something?

didn't you just have some work done to that like a oil change or something?which is what I was thinking. If you just changed your oil, I would bet dollars to doughnuts that you fudged something. Like an over tight or under tight oil filter? just guessing, but I would check their first, alot cheaper to fix:2cents:

i put off the oil change. and thats was the problem. the f er that i bought the bike from put way to much oil in it my fault still should of checked it more. so one to many times the pressure being to high oil pushed out between the the left side cover and stator wire gromit yamabond didnt hold up. i guess itis better than it blowing out the breather. thanks for the help today mike.
bike should be running by friday. letting the rvt bond for 24 hr +

Edwin my man, No problem!!!! If I was the only one using the shop, it's wouldn't be worth having...LOL I hope that new sealer does the trick. If not just order the seals and well pull that cover off and replace em. I tthink a combination of the "extra" oil, and your "High speed runs" was the problem. Glad we got the oil changed too. And it was sooo worth it just for you to try to explain to the cop working on your bike just how fast you were going... you cracked me up!!!!!
